I got subscribed no problem but then couldn't get back to it, and had several people who know computers puzzling over it for a long time. Turns out that iTunes is loaded on our computer at work, but hidden, so you have to go to the .exe file to open it, then log in, then chhose your podcast. I'll have to try from home to see if I can remember how to do it there, or if we even have iTunes loaded!

Week 10

I think I am ready for this 23 things to be over - each week takes me so long to do!
I could do tabbed browsing - no sweat.
Adding on an add-on was more of a pain, as I had to keep going back to the video and re-watching, they went so fast and I couldn't follow when I was actually doing it myself. I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I couldn't get it to work for a loong time. Finally added on Add-block plus, but it didn't look like it did on video screen. I just went back to it and now it does look the same - ?? Go figure.

Luckily found text size feature fairly easily - and it was pure luck. Ctrl + and Ctrl -, but they don't seem to change them that much. Found out how to do this in Explorer, and they have 5 choices, which is nicer. Couldn't see how to do it without pull-down menu, though - no Ctrl keys shown. Probably just don't know what to look for.

Overall, I am always so glad when each week's assignment is done! Too mentally taxing for this late at night!

is there a way to search all e-books? Every time I try to do an advanced search with just ebooks as the limiting factor, it says I must put in more info. What if I just want to see what's available?

I downloaded an eBook, as I don't have a player to transfer an audio book to and would just have to listen to it on the computer. Went smoothly, except at first I thought requesting the title would get me what I wanted. It doesn't. It gives you an error message after you tell it where you want to pick up the title, which , of course, you can't pick up. So I now know you must click on "Availability", then it pops up right away - very nice! If only I had the time to sit and read it!

Plan to try downleading other services, too, but want to do Week 6 first, as I'm already behind!

First Post! Hurray!

I have a headache - that's how I feel!! I'm sure this will get easier the more I do it, but for now, I'm frustrated, cranky, and want to go home!
